Glenn E. Cohen
Glenn earned his B.S. in International Relations from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1971 and serves on the Admissions Committee of North Florida for this highly acclaimed academic institution. He earned his law degree from the University of Florida, School of Law in 1974 and was admitted to the Florida Bar and United States District Court, Middle District of Florida that same year.
Mr. Cohen is the co-founder of the personal injury law firm of Barnes and Cohen and has spent his professional life fighting for the rights of those injured by the negligence of individuals, corporations, doctors and hospitals.
During the course of his legal career he has achieved some the highest personal injury and medical malpractice verdicts and settlements in the Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia region. Mr. Cohen and his firm have resolved over 30 personal injury legal disputes where the case value exceeded one million dollars.
Mr. Cohen is a co-founder of the Birdies for the Brave charity that has raised millions for orphans of military personnel killed in the line of duty and for home modifications for disabled Iraqi War Veterans.
On a personal note, Glenn has suffered from his own serious medical problems over the years and has undergone 5 back surgeries in his lifetime. He is an attorney that truly understands the pain and life altering medical issues associated with a severe injury. He brings this knowledge and empathy to every injured client he represents.
