The officer was evaluated for a possible concussion and other unspecified injuries. Police and emergency workers have a dangerous job. The "Move Over Law" is meant to keep our police officers and emergency workers safe. Drivers are required by the law to move over if it is possible to do so safely or lower their speed to 20 miles below the speed limit. The accident is being investigated. It was raining at the time of the crash.
