Air Bag issues continue to place drivers and their passengers at risk. Nissan has issued a recall. The recall includes Altima, Rogue and Maxima the model year range is 2013-2015. An incorrect Occupant Classification System (OCS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may have been installed in the front passenger seat. The incorrect ECU and seat combination may misclassify the front passenger seat occupant. Due to this issue the Air Bag may not deploy or it may deploy incorrectly in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ECU and update the OCS software free of charge. The recall is expected to begin by February 12, 2017. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261. A serious Recall has been issued by several companies including Quaker Oats, Kashi and Treehouse. Treehouse distributes products under a variety of names including Great value brand sold at Walmart. The recall includes granola, granola bars, sunflower seeds and almonds. The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people or those with a weakened immune system. Listeria can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women. Symptoms include high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. A serious Defective Food Product Recall has been issued by Nestle' serious injuries may result if this product is consumed. Pizza and popular frozen meals are included in this recall many of your friends and family members may be storing in their freezer. Please share this recall. The products that have been recalled include several varieties of DiGiorno Pizza and several varieties of Stouffer's Lean Cuisine. The foods in question may contain small pieces of glass. The recall is limited to certain product codes. The products are currently under investigation but the source of the glass is believed to be spinach which is a common ingredient in all of the products recalled. Consumers brought this issue to the attention of the manufacturer by reporting that they had found small pieces of glass in some of the products that are now on the recall list. No Injuries have been reported. Do not risk your health or the health of your family throw the product away or return it to the store where you purchased the item. If you have any of these products in your freezer check the product codes immediately. The recall is limited to specific product codes.
